What. A. Summer.

What. A. Summer.
When we launched the Summer Scavenger Bingo Challenge back in July, we hoped it would encourage our Members to get out into their communities, try new things, spend time with staff and peers, and create lasting memories.
…and WOW… you all absolutely delivered.

Over the past two months, our inboxes have been overflowing with photos, stories, adventures, and creative interpretations of Bingo squares. We watched Members explore new parks, discover hidden community gems, enjoy playgrounds and waterfront trails, spot wildlife, visit places they’d never been before, and take on every challenge with enthusiasm and imagination. From apple picking to turtle spotting, every submission reminded us just how much fun can happen when people are willing to say “yes” to a new adventure.
A huge congratulations goes out to our first documented Bingo winners, EE, RG, RT, RF, JSO and CO, who were the first Members to complete Bingo lines and earn their prizes. Their excitement helped set the tone for what became an incredible summer of participation. (But don’t worry, if you’re close to finishing your card, let me know and we can chat about extending if you want to try to check some off before the leaves start to fall)
But the real story of this challenge is the creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm shown by our staff.
To everyone who brainstormed ideas, packed sunscreen, drove to a new destination, turned a simple prompt into an unforgettable outing, snapped photos, encouraged participation, and helped Members experience something new: thank you.
Some staff sent photos every single week. Others found unique ways to adapt challenges so every Member could participate in a way that worked for them. Many of you turned simple Bingo squares into full-day adventures, and the excitement in the photos was impossible to miss.
The challenge was designed with participation and thinking outside the box in mind, and that’s exactly what made it special. Whether a Member completed one square or an entire card, we’re so thankful that the staff and members were part of something bigger: a summer filled with exploration, confidence-building, connection, laughter, and memorable experiences.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who took the time to send photos, updates, and stories throughout the summer. Every email helped us capture the spirit of the challenge and showcase the incredible things happening across Imagine. The level of engagement far exceeded our expectations, and it was clear from the very beginning that staff embraced this initiative wholeheartedly.
Most importantly, thank you to our Members.
Thank you for the smiles, the adventures, the creativity, the willingness to try something new, and for reminding us all that some of the best moments happen when we step outside our comfort zones and experience our communities together!
Thank you to Rickilee, Jamie-Lee and Mattea for helping organize and brainstorm this initiative.
Thank you all for making the 2026 Summer Scavenger Bingo Challenge such an incredible success.

We can’t wait to see what adventures we create together next. (Winter is… coming.)
