Summer for JM was filled with outings and adventures, and thanks to Matt, who sent in an update, we got a glimpse of adventures packed with excitement, discovery, and firsts. From a vibrant overnight escape in North Bay to blazing trails in New Liskeard, at Imagine Point.

“Overall, it was a really successful overnight trip, and JM seemed to have a great time,” Matt said about the North Bay trip, which included shopping, mini-golf, exploring the waterfront, and an overnight stay, giving JM the opportunity to enjoy a fun change of beautiful Ontario scenery.
One of the highlights of the summer was their camping trip to Imagine Point in New Liskeard, where Matt and JM became the very first of our Sudbury Imagine Community to stay at the site.

Curious about Imagine Point? Well, Matt described it as a “beautiful spot, great setup,” and shared that even though the weather wasn’t perfect on their first night, “we made the most of it and had a true camping experience. JM was a trooper.”
During their stay, JM spent time fishing, kayaking, relaxing by the water, and enjoying a campfire at sunset. As Matt summed it up, “We had a really great time overall, and I think JM really enjoyed the whole experience. He mentioned hoping to do it again sometime.”
Thank you, Matt, for creating these opportunities and for taking the time to share JM’s adventures with all of us. Stories like these remind us how meaningful community experiences can be.
