a collage of the adventures that our members have been getting up to this summer as they complete our Bingo Scavenger Hunt

Wow! I knew our Summer Scavenger Bingo Challenge was going to be popular, but I wasn’t expecting this many amazing entries! It’s been incredible seeing staff and members jump into the challenge, try new things, and have so much fun along the way. There are far too many entries to share them all, but here are a few highlights:

  • Kelly shared that CO’s “plot twist” is that after years of thrifting at the Thrift Store, they now volunteer there once a week! Congrats CO, We’re so proud of you!
  • KB and Bradlee tackled the Making Waves challenge, and it was KB’s very first time kayaking, and like a pro and spent nearly two hours exploring Kalmo Beach while enjoying a snack on the water. His first question afterward? “When can we go kayaking again?” YESSSS!
  • RF completed the Grill & Chill square by enjoying a hamburger and fries while relaxing on his patio. Now that is a perfect summer moment.
  • RG had a blast on the swings and got an unexpected burst of energy that helped kick off a fun day.
  • AG visited Thornhill Horse Farm in Emsdale and spent time riding his horse, Royale, who literally took the reins and led the way!
  • JM checked off another square with a visit to the skate park.
  • RT headed to the Howard Armstrong Splash Pad and made the most of a hot summer day with plenty of water and plenty of Sun!
  • JA enjoyed a picnic with staff, soaking up the sun and spending time outdoors.
EE completed the Plot Twist challenge by trying something new at home, dyeing her hair completely black with staff support.

There’s so much more, but that’s about all I can fit in!

A huge thank you to everyone who has participated so far. Seeing members and staff embrace the challenge, try new experiences, and create great memories together has been amazing. Keep those entries coming!
