Join a Team that Makes a Difference

Are you someone who genuinely cares about others?

Do you believe everyone deserves a chance to grow, explore, and live a meaningful life, no matter their diagnosis? At Imagine, we support those who are too often overlooked.

At Imagine, we are excited to support our members on their journey to living their best lives. This looks different for every Member, but you will help our members develop skills by guiding them with our principles of structure, consistency, and predictability.

Over 24, 12, or 8-hour shifts you’ll plan and accompany our members on activities such as camping under the stars, attending a Metallica concert, visiting a local club or museum, or building skills through community programming developed by our clinical services team.

As a Program Counsellor at Imagine Therapeutic Services, I support individuals with varying abilities in building independence and confidence. Each day offers opportunities to teach essential life skills, foster creativity, and strengthen community connections. While 24-hour shifts can be challenging, they provide a healthy work-life balance and the chance to form meaningful relationships. Imagine is an inclusive, dynamic enviornment where every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a lasting difference.

We want everyone in our community to work towards the Imagine Standard and go above and beyond. As such, we know that you expect us to do the same. By joining ITSI, you will receive competitive pay and benefits, the right to disconnect, and opportunities to grow your skills through workshops and training.

Our goal is that when businesses see Imagine on a resume, they know what they’re getting. If you lead with compassion, put people first, and want your work to matter, you belong at Imagine.

My role as a Program Counsellor with Imagine is fulfilling. I support members, young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, through their daily lives and towards set goals. ITSI treats staff as a special component to their programs. From structuring schedules with employee convenience in mind to staffing ratios that make all shifts easy and fluid. They make sure to promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizational culture, offer constant staff training and retraining, and readily support staff with their professional and personal needs.

Each time I set out for work, I look forward to it. What my colleagues and I get to do collaboratively with members during shifts; whether it’s participating in recreational activities, preparing meals and dining together, walking through tasks and chores, going for appointments, or taking steps towards our members’ goals, a day at work feels more like a day having fun, as I see the members make constant progress through life.

David, Program Counsellor

We’re proud to serve communities across Northern Ontario. Our programs and services are available in Huntsville, Sudbury, Sturgeon Falls, North Bay, and New Liskeard. We’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our community.

Working for ITSI provides an exceptional work/life balance. With 24-hour shifts, you can schedule your life to work only two days a week and spend the rest of your time enjoying life to the fullest.

Not only are you helping our members live their best life, but you’ll have time to live yours too.

It that’s you …
